We receive disturbing informations from Mrs Anderline Amamgbo regarding a situation little known in Nigeria, a country considered by European governments, "safe country" in which to repatriate those not deemed entitled to receive humanitarian protection. Please sign the petition to release IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.

This is a call to end the persecution and extermination of Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob) in Nigeria under the tyrannical government of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and to release the leader of Ipob Nnamdi Kanu, whom Nigerian forces illegally detained for 10 months.

It is clear to the whole world that President Muhammadu Buhari and his Nigeria hate to death the people of Biafra, that's why every time the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) are organizing a peaceful protest, without weapons (because they are not violent ), like last January 18, 2016, Buhari gave immediate order to the police and the army to start shooting and kill innocent biafrans, despite the protests of IPOB are always calm and without weapons.

Indigenous People Of  Biafra (IPOB) on a protest

The IPOB represent all the indigenous people of Biafra. They are led by Nnamdi Kanu, a British citizen with dual nationality who was arrested by the DSS (the Nigerian Department of state services) and still held by Muhammadu Buhari for over 10 months now, despite the fact it was agreed a bail and conditions were met.

During this long period, more than 2 judges have ordered the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, since the terrorism charges against him are without logic, false and unfounded. Yet the corrupt presidency of Buhari has not complied with the judgments of competent judges!

The Biafrans and Nnamdi Kanu are fighting for the freedom of the indigenous peoples of Biafra, they want to restore the nation of Biafra, based on the universal right of self-determination planned by the United Nations. "We are not Nigerians, we are Biafrans. The world must hear our voice and come to our rescue, before it repeats a new Biafran war after that between 1967 and 1970, " they screams.

Nigerian President Buhari and the secret police (DSS) have abused and severely violated human rights of the Biafran people and that of their leader Nnamdi Kanu, who has been and continues to be tortured physically and psychologically. Kanu was beaten, compelled by force to drink and eat what he did not want to drink or eat, and sleep on the floor without mattresses and blankets.

What did the people of Biafra do to deserve this? Is it a crime to fight for their independence and for their freedom? Is it a crime to want to ensure a better future for their children in their country, Biafra? The world must listen to their voices and come to their rescue.

According to IPOB Nnamdi Kanu was abducted illegally in Lagos October 14, 2015 by DSS agents and processed on October 19 by an Abuja court.

The DSS has obtained that the trial was moved to Abuja high court to hold Nnamdi Kanu for 90 days during the investigation on the charge of terrorism. In both proceedings, judges have ruled for his unconditional release.

The DSS and Buhari has totally ignored the court orders. Since January 20 the defense of Kanu is carried out by a new legal team, which won the President Federal High Court, Maitama-Abuja, the transfer of the prisoner to Kuje prison, where he can see his family, lawyers and be visited by doctors. There will be a further hearing on the 29th of September 2016.

We want and we demand the immediate and unconditional release of activist and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.

Nnamdi Kanu is a prisoner of conscience and must be released immediately and unconditionally!

ACT NOW! Sign the appeal for his release http://buonacausa.org/…/nnamdi-kanu-deve-essere-rilasciato-…
